OEM Sales Engineer
Function : Sales

OEM Sales Manager Job Description:The OEM Sales Manager is responsible for
sales, service and relationship management pertaining to OEM accounts within
the sales organization. Working closely with other functional areas of the
business, the OEM Account Manager will not only work to grow relationships with
the existing OEM customer base, but also to establish new OEM relationships,
partnerships and projects applying Labsphere products and technologies
.
Responsibilities of the OEM Sales Manager:100% responsible
     for the development of new OEM business relationships and growth in select
     markets (i.e., Medical/Biotech, Safety, Environmental, Camera &
     Display) consistent with the OEM Business Unit goals/objectives.

  • Qualifies
         and prioritizes new business opportunities to maximize short and long term
         OEM growth.
  • Develops
         and refines Labsphere’s value proposition within existing accounts in
         order to drive new business opportunities in target and adjacent markets.
  • Proactively
         interface with the RSMs as appropriate to develop/qualify new OEM business
         opportunities and business relationships.
  •       
    Develop and maintain a personal
    relationship with key stakeholders at all existing OEM accounts. Prepare
    accurate monthly
    forecast of existing and new business. 
    Effectively communicate account needs internally, to ensure all OEM
    business commitments are met and to improve the customer’s perception of
    Labsphere as a valued business partner.
      
Provides application knowledge and industry expertise and manages sales activities.
       
Organizes and manages a technical engagement team for identified opportunities and
integrates competitive data and strategy into proposals to impact the
customer’s decision process and presents solutions to the customer (value
proposition).
       
Negotiates contract terms and conditions (T&Cs), pricing, discounts and allowances.
      
Ensures through familiarity with company policies and procedures, which include, but not limited to: Standards of
Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information
Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety,
quality and environmental).

Work condition of an OEM Account Manager: Required travel: Approx 35%, both domestic and international. Some weekend travel may be necessary on occasion.  This position may work from home office.

Must accommodate communications with international time zones on a regular basis.

Required
Skills/Experience:Completed a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Ability to communicate well in written and spoken English to all levels of management.

Demonstrated success of prospecting, business development and relationship-building skills.

Five years minimum experience working with large OEMs in a sales role.

Thorough understanding of typical product development, qualification and launch process (Product Life Cycle)

Miller Heiman training and practice discipline, or direct experience demonstrating strategic selling techniques, including identifying key buying influences for >$M opportunities.

Transferrable knowledge of optics, vision systems or Medical/Biotech, Safety, Environmental markets or technologies.

Possess excellent computer skills; be proficient in all Microsoft Office Products

The individual applying for this position should be located in the NorthEastern US; travel of 35%.

Inside Sales Engineer
Function : Sales
Labsphere is seeking a seasoned Sales engineer for an Inside Sales position where the individual will be 100% responsible for technical support of Regional and Business Unit Sales
Managers, by developing technical expertise on standard products, applications
and markets.  Assisting with proactive outbound sales/marketing initiatives and
promotional campaigns.  Striving for 100% customer satisfaction in every daily
interaction with follow-up and verification.  The Inside Sales Engineer will
need to demonstrate mastery of sales and customer support techniques and provide
technical and logistical support to the sales and marketing team, as well as
delivering technical training seminars on spheres, materials and radiometry
(within 6 months of start date).  We are looking for a very smart, highly
enthusiastic and energetic individual.  We require someone with exceptional
organizational and planning skills who is driven and ambitious. This candidate
needs to understand his/her role with their internal and external customers and
work with high standards, flexibility and empathy.  This position could
eventually allow the individual to transition into a role in Quality, Marketing,
Design Engineering or into a Sales role such as Regional Sales Manager, Business
Unit Sales Manager or Product Line Manager.


Procurement Engineer
Function : Management

This is a role for a seasoned Procurement Manager with strong negotiating experience who can manage a team, convert orders to shipments in a timely manner and meet or exceed our Customer’s expectations.


Responsible and accountable for the performance of the Procurement Organization: the planning, supply chain, and logistics groups in the North Sutton NH facility, as well as for providing strategic direction to the buyer/planner located in Shanghai China.

Expected to convert orders to shipments at a rate compliant with our standard lead time objectives, while optimizing Labsphere’s investment in materials and capacity.

Insure that suppliers of goods and services meet Labsphere performance criteria for quality, service, and price by routinely evaluating their performance, and providing feedback along with corrective action as needed.

Routinely evaluate the performance of your direct reports, reward A-Level contributors, develop weaker performers or replace with A-level players quickly thus creating a sustainable organizational structure prepared for continued growth.


Work within the quality system to continuously improve Labsphere’s planning, purchasing, inventory, and shipping functions by encouraging all employees to actively identify better ways to improve their functional responsibilities, our customer’s satisfaction, and the quality and cost of our products.



 

 



 

 



Software Quality Assurance Engineer
Function : Engineering
 
THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN SHANGHAI CHINA
 
In parallel (conjunction) with Labsphere's new software initiative we are enhancing our Software Quality Assurance procedures. We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to lead this effort. Responsibilities include:
  • Setup a QA Lab, which will contain light measurement software and hardware (e.g., spectrometers,  power supplies)
  • Plan, document, and implement test procedures for application testing, hardware integration, end-to-end system test, installation, and bug fix/regression testing
  • Work closely with software, optical, and application engineers to define requirements, specifications, and testing needs
  • Identify, evaluate and deploy process and tool improvements to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Labsphere's QA procedures
  • Champion and drive a world-class customer experience

Desired Skills & Experience

  • BS degree in Computer Science, optical engineering, or related field, or equivalent years of experience
  • Number of years of experience is flexible, but we are looking for a capable individual with lots of initiative
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the software development and in process choices
  • Strong communication and team relationship skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of skepticism when interacting with software systems
  • Proficiency in setting up and configuring PC systems from scratch. Windows required, Linux a plus.
  • Experience with instrumentation and/or optical systems a big plus
  • Experience with version control systems, automated testing tools, other QA tools, and the willingness to explore and use new ones
