Diffuse light entering into the sphere or to shield the detector from collecting direct radiation from a light source
Benefits:
Diffuses the light entering inside the sphere in an uniform source application
Avoids creating hot-spots inside the sphere
Avoids direct exchange of radiations between source and detector.
Enables the user to mount baffle at the position that suits their application the most
Connects to/ Mounts on: 1 inch port frame
Used with all Labsphere integrating spheres a cone baffle assembly mounts onto a 1-inch diameter port frame, and serves to shield a device (e.g. light source or detector) positioned at that port from the opposite sphere wall, in order to prevent the direct exchange of radiation between them.
