The MC-1000 is a high-resolution motor controller designed to control Labsphere’s variable attenuators and other motor driven peripherals such as filter wheels and aperture wheels. The controller allows light levels to be controlled from an external light source assembly into an integrating sphere uniform source.
The motor resolution is 2,000 to 58,000 steps per revolution with a default resolution of 1,000 steps when coupled with a Labsphere variable attenuator, enabling faster automated slewing to the desired output level. A numeric bar slide ensures quick, precise repositioning.
When integrated with a Labsphere Uniform Source System (USS) this component will be calibrated with the system for the accurate monitoring of luminance, illuminance or radiance from minimum to maximum output levels and comes with a NIST traceable calibration certificate.
Default settings ensure quick, reproducible calibrations, or manually input settings to fine-tune the positioning for your application. The MC-1000 also allows you to upgrade your stepped uniform source system to a continuous output level with the addition of this controller and a variable attenuator.
