ADAPTASPHERE PORT COVERS
A port plug mounts to the port of an integrating sphere
via a flat area and bolt circle (2-3 screws) designed
into the sphere. No additional mounting hardware is
needed to attach a port plug to the sphere. A port plug
is used to block off unused ports on the integrating
sphere. Choose a port plug made of the same material
as the interior coating of your sphere. Black-coated
port covers may be used for special applications where
throughput needs to be maintained, or as a way to
cover a port solely for protection of the interior of the
sphere while in storage. Both Spectraflect port plugs
and black port covers are made standard in the range
for ports from 0.25" to 2". Please consult our technical
sales representative for information on using black port covers.

AdaptaSphere Port Reducers
Port reducers are used to decrease the aperture size of
the port to a new dimension. Choose a port reducer
made of the same material as the
interior surface of your sphere. Port reducers mount to
the flat and bolt circle designed into the AdaptaSphere port. No additional hardware is needed to attach the port
reducer. The port reducer design also allows for "piggybacking"
of additional reducers or other adapters of
similar port size to the newly reduced port size.
