Labsphere’s Total Spectral and Total Luminous Flux Lamp Standards are selected for their stability and reproducibility. Each lamp has been carefully screened, seasoned and calibrated at our Optical Calibration Laboratory under the guidelines recommended by the IESNA (Illuminating Engineering Society of North America) to provide the highest degree of accuracy.

Labsphere’s lamp standards may be purchased individually or, following the recommendations of national laboratories and industry standards for lamp photometry, in sets of three screen, seasoned and calibrated lamps. The use of three lamps prolongs the useful life of each lamp, since they may be used interchangeably. A multiple lamp set allows the user to check the lamps against each other to verify calibration data over time. A calibration certificate verifying traceability to NIST is provided with each lamp.

Labsphere’s Lamp Standards of Total Spectral Flux provide an exceptional artifact for calibrating integrating sphere spectrometers for total spectral radiant flux responsivity from 350 to 1050 nm.

• Calibrated Spectral Flux Standard CSFS-XXX are sets of three spectrally calibrated lamps.
• CSFS-050 is a set of three, 50 lumen spectrally calibrated optical grade krypton lamps.
• CSFS-600 and CSFS-1400 are sets of three 600 lm and 1400 lumen spectrally calibrated tungsten halogen lamps.
• The SCL-050 is recommended with the CSLMS and CSLMS LED Small Systems while the SCL-600 and SCL-1400 are recommended for the Medium and Large CSLMS and CSLMS LED Systems, respectively.

All Labsphere lamp standards are seasoned for 1% of their rated life and then screened for stability and repeatable performance before they are selected for calibration. The selected lamps are then calibrated directly from the NIST traceable standards for a calibration result you can rely on.
