System Calibrations
You’ve made a large capital investment in a specialized optical system – let us keep it running for you in world class condition!
Service for uniform source system, including HELIOS and our older USS and custom systems, is recommended if:
System lamps have been operated for more than 50 hours
System is more than two years old
You need the lowest uncertainties possible for upcoming programs
System has operated or been stored in dusty environment
Quality Management System mandates annual calibrations on critical measurement equipment
Monitor detector disagrees with the original calibration certificate
HELIOS System Recalibration Services
When it comes time to renew your system certification and commissioning with our HELIOS uniform source systems, we provide quick and efficient re-calibration services grouped by the family of the system that you purchased. For more information about HELIOS calibrations, please review our brochure on those product offerings.
Comprehensive Laboratory Calibrations
We offer the full suite of calibrations when we service your system in our laboratories including measurement of spatial and angular uniformity to ensure the lowest possible uncertainties in your measurements. See our white paper “Perfectly Understood Non-Uniformity” for much more detail.
On-site Calibration Services
When you need to minimize downtime due to shipping, or the system is too large or integrated to accommodate shipping back to us, we’ll bring the lab to you with our On-Site Calibration Services. These services include professional assessment of the overall condition of the system, re-lamping the sphere with before and after measurements, power supply verification/calibration options, and NIST traceable measurements with reported uncertainty.
We design our systems to fit your needs. It makes sense that we design our system calibrations to fit them as well. Whether it’s regulatory or quality requirements, we have an extensive series of calibration laboratories designed to help you comply and excel.
Our NIST traceable and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 NVLAP accredited calibrations are available for a variety of our systems.
